Andrew Bingham Independent Funeral Service of Stowmarket, hosted a charity evening on Saturday 14th November in aid of St Elizabeth Hospice, raising a total of £1010.06.

The event was held at Buxhall Village Hall, where about 100 people turned out on a wet and windy night. Music was provided once again by the popular local country band ‘Slightly Soiled'.

Andrew, his wife Heidi and the team would like to offer their sincere thanks to local businesses Kings Florist, Barnards VW Garage, The Chinese Chequers, Bradnams Joinery, Thorley Smith, Bosch, PPG, Kims Florist (Needham Market), John Bull, Greene King Brewery, Muntons and to all the individuals who kindly gave prizes or made donations. A wonderful evening was had by all.

The hospice is local and through our own personal and professional experience, we know the value that the hospice gives. The Hospice is an independent local charity and all of the wide ranging services are provided free of charge. In total it costs £5.9 million each year to run the Hospice, of which 77% is raised by our supporters. It is the support of the local community that enables St Elizabeth Hospice to continue providing the highest standard of care to our patients and their families, friends and carers.
