Our Funeral Home is very conveniently situated in the heart of Stowmarket Town Centre, adjacent to Stowmarket Registrars Office. We offer a comfortable living room style arrangement room where funeral arrangements can be made, or if you prefer we will be pleased to visit you in the comfort of your own home.

We have a discrete private chapel of rest, our chapel of rest has a peaceful atmosphere and is non-denominational and can accommodate those of all beliefs.

We can offer our families the added benefit of free parking at our premises.

History of the Nutshell

1911 the site was used as a salvation Army Hall and the building extended to the roadside. 1978 the building was demolished and replaced with a Brethren Assembly Hall and then in 1999 Mr Ray Meacham opened the Nutshell Christian Bookshop. In 2010 after the bookshop closed Andrew Bingham Independent Funeral Service moved there.Our funeral home is on a site that has been used for spiritual purposes for over a hundred years. Please see the images at the bottom of the page. Andrew Bingham Funeral Services moved to the site in 2010.
