Our Premises

Following the devasting fire in September 2025 at our premises ‘The Nutshell’ Milton Road South, we were very kindly offered Unit 2, on the Charles Industrial Estate in Stowmarket, this adjoins unit 1, which we already rented, where we had a purpose built mortuary, garaging for our vehicles and coffin store, the Porch family, in the space of 6 weeks, converted unit 2 into a fully working funeral directors with a reception, administration office, two arrangement rooms and a chapel, quickly becoming our new home.

Unit 1 and 2 stand alone and are positioned immediately on the left as you turn onto the small estate.

The Nutshell unfortunately had to be completely demolished and planning permission has been granted to rebuild, the plan is to return to Milton Road South with a more modern and larger building. Completion is expected Spring 2027.
